Neat! I do like them, although it falls into the category of 'would buy if a raging bargain pops up on eBay and I've got money' rather than 'will save up money to buy'.

Those must be bloody quick, and you could probably get them handling alright. Fully dressed 302s weigh about 227kg, which is a good 57kg heavier than a Rover V8. A lot of weight, but definitely possible to offset with battery relocation, fibreglass panels and lightweight starter and alternator.
